12 Items or Less

Wink Isn't the world amazing?  We are all so connected and life is so linear. Like the computer game "Six Degrees of Separation" most things go back in a circle to the point of origin. It's called many things, Karma, coincidences, flukes, but whatever it is labeled we must understand that life is not one giant lab experiment.

Since teaching is my profession my first 12 items or less will be a list on how to turn out horrible children.

"12 Sure-fire ways to raise Delinquent Children"

1.  Begin from infancy to give the child everything he wants. He will soon grow up to believe the world owes him a living.

2. When he picks up bad words, laugh at him. This will make him think he's cute.

3. Never give him any spiritual. Wait till he is twenty -one and then let him "decide for himself".

4. Avoid use of the word "wrong". He may develop a guilt complex. This will condition him to believe that society is against him, and he is being persecuted.

5. Pick up everything he leaves lying around (books, shoes, and clothing). Do everything for him so he will be experienced in throwing all responsibility onto others.

6. Let him read any printed matter he can get his hands on. Let him feast on garbage.

7. Quarrel frequently in the presence of your child. He will learn to no cringe at the sound of loud angry voices.

8. Give a child ALL the spending money he wants. Never let him earn his own. Why should life be difficult for him?

9. Satisfy hi every craving for food , drink, and comfort. Denial of any desires may lead to harmful frustration.

10. Take his side against neighbors, teachers, and policemen. They all lie on your child.

11. When he gets into real trouble, say the other people have it all wrong. Your child would never do this.

12. Take care of him All his life, pay his bills, give him spending money and get him out of trouble.
